For as long as I can remember, I’ve loved vintage embroidery clothing and thrifting, inspired by a deep belief that sustainability is the way forward. This passion led me to create a new jewelry collection called Kuiini—meaning "queen"—that celebrates strength, heritage, and beauty.

This collection features vibrant, embroidered threads in stunning colours, and I’m incredibly proud of this work. It’s a truly unique project, blending traditional craftsmanship with contemporary design—something I’ve never seen before.

As a half-Māori, half-Pākehā artist from Aotearoa, this work reflects my rich heritage. My Māori roots and British Victorian ancestry come together in each piece, symbolizing strength, resilience, and cultural pride.
